Anthony Bindas

CANFIELD - A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, for Anthony J. Bindas, 58, who died Tuesday morning at Caprice Healthcare.
Anthony was born May 10, 1955, in Youngstown, to George and Irene (Silver) Bindas.
He graduated from Ursuline High School in 1973 and received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University. Anthony worked as a Senior Regional Speciality Leasing Representative for the Cafaro Co. for 19 years. Most recently, Anthony worked for the Gift Giant as a consultant.
He was a past president of Alpha Phi Delta, a member of National Fraternity, and the International Council of Shopping Centers, and was previously active with the Democratic Party.
Anthony is survived by his sister, Karen (Ken) Armeni of Poland; his brother, Robert Bindas of Canfield; two nieces, Nicole Armeni and Jennifer Bindas; and two nephews, Robert W. and Christopher Bindas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the former Mahoning County Commissioner, George Bindas, and his mother, Irene Bindas.
Family and friends may call Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
