Willis Norman Gleghorn JR

New Middleton - Willis Norman Gleghorn Jr., 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Hospice House with his family by his bedside. Willis was born July 25, 1947, in Edon Valley, PA, the son of Willis N. Sr. and Laura (Aley) Gleghorn. He was a graduate of Mohawk High School, class of 1965 and served his country in the U.S. Army and was station in Korea for 18 months. Willis "Bill" worked as an electrician and in refrigeration for many years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He enjoyed reading, taking vacations with his wife, and being with his dog Coco. He leaves his wife, the former Nancy Kervi, whom he married July 31, 1971, two sons, Gary Gleghorn and his wife Laurie of Bethlehem, PA and Bryan Gleghorn and his wife Laura of Chippawa, PA, three grandchildren, Lexi, Brayden, and Carly, his mother Laura Gleghorn of Edon Valley, PA, as well as three siblings, Sue Robert and Barney. Following his requests, there are no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers the family kindly request donations to be made to: Hospice of the Valley, 6803 Sharrott Road Youngstown, Ohio 44514.
