Victoria L. Rossi

YOUNGSTOWN — Victoria L. Rossi, 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Windsor House at Canfield.

She was born on Nov. 2, 1952, in Youngstown, a daughter of Harry VandenBosch and the former Joanne McDonald.

Victoria was a 1970 graduate of Boardman High School. She worked at Home Savings and Loan, where she contributed in the fields of banking and mortgage servicing.

Known as Vicki to her friends and Grandma Vicki to her family, Victoria was an active member of community theater. Her favorite role was the Ghost of Christmas Past at Salem Community Theatre. She delighted in reciting her lines each Christmas season until her very last days.

Her voice was a familiar and cherished sound in the Seraphim Choir. For many years, she was a devoted member of St. Stanislaus Church, singing in the St. Gregory’s Choir, and later became a member of St. Paul Church in Leetonia.

She loved crafting and painting, using her talents to create special Halloween costumes and birthday cakes for her grandchildren, and entertaining them with funny, imaginative stories.

Victoria married Mark Rossi on Dec. 16, 1972; and he preceded her in death on April 27, 2023.

She is survived by her children, Teresa (Robert) Drummond of Cincinnati, Sarah (Robert) Durham of Cleveland and Nicholas (Jessica) Rossi of Youngstown; sister, Joyce Bailing of Boardman; daughter-in-law, Lisa Rossi of Austintown; and seven grandchildren, Elizabeth and Katherine Durham, Olivia and Matthew Rossi, William and Henry Drummond and Cecelia Rossi.

In addition to her parents, Victoria was preceded in death by her son, Michael Rossi; sister, Karen Olsen; and brothers, Ben and Carel VandenBosch.

Calling hours will be from 9 to 11 a.m., followed immediately by the funeral service at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, OH 44515.
