Vicky L. Hannahs, 73, passed away on January 22, 2024 at Hospice House in Poland. 


She was born on December 9, 1950, in Salem a daughter of the late Leonard and Carol Crizer Mace.


Vicky graduated from Western Reserve High School in Berlin Center, where she cultivated the values that would guide her throughout her life. She found her true calling as a teacher's assistant at the Capstone Academy at the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities. It was there that Vicky truly thrived, pouring her heart and soul into helping children with disabilities reach their full potential. Her unwavering commitment to her job was evident to all who had the privilege of knowing her.


While Vicky enjoyed a successful career, nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her family. She cherished every moment shared with her loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever. 


Vicky is survived by her husband Mark H. Hannahs, whom she married on February 18, 2006; her siblings,  Barry (Becky) Mace, Sherri (Richard) Kirkpatrick, and David (Joni) Mace  all of Berlin Center. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Chuck and Jerry Mace.
