POLAND - Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at 7 p.m., at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Skyler Dane Hamrick, 20, who passed away Tuesday evening, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Skyler was born on Feb. 19, 1995, in Youngstown, to Thomas and Karen (Boyer) Hamrick.
He was a 2013 graduate of Poland High School, and was most recently employed by Gobel's Towing as a mechanic. Skyler also obtained his Diesel Mechanic Certificate from M.C.C.T.C. Skyler enjoyed four wheeling, hunting and being surrounded by family and friends.
Besides his parents, Skyler and his continuous smile will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves three brothers, Shawn (Katie) Hamrick, James (Nakia) Hamrick, and Jarrod (Jennifer) Hamrick; one sister, Jennifer Boyer of Poland; and nieces and nephews.
Skyler was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Hamrick.
Skyler's family has requested that material tributes take the form of contributions to the Skyler Hamrick Memorial Fund at any Huntington Bank branch.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
