AUSTINTOWN - Services will be Thursday at 9:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, and at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Rose Argiro Propri age 82 of Austintown who passed away Monday morning at the Humility House.
Rose was born December 29, 1923, in Hillsville, Pa., the daughter of Frank and Maria Femia Argiro.
She had worked for the Austintown School System at the Frank Ohl Middle School cafateria for over 19 years before retiring in 1992. She was a charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and a member of its alter and rosary society. She was also a charter member of the Msgr. Mears Council # 3930 of the Knights of Columbus ladies auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband Larry Propri Sr. whom she married January 27, 1945 in St. Lawrence Church in Hillsville, Pa., two daughters, Lorraine Propri of Austintown, and Genevieve Tim Haught of Salem, two sons, Larry Vicki Propri Jr., and Robert Gina Propri of Austintown, three sisters, Inez Sinibaldi of Fort Myers, Fla., Virginia Jake Jacola of Austintown, Ida Steve Markovic of Youngstown, two brothers, John Argiro of Boardman, and Joe "Pep" and wife Mary Ann Argiro of New Castle, Pa., six grandchildren, Collete, Shelli, Amber, Adina, Tim, and Alisha, and three great-grandchildren, Darrell, Amiera, and Dillon.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Patsy, and Frank Argiro.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
