Ronda M. Esker

YOUNGSTOWN - Ronda M. Esker, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, at the age of 57.

Born on October 14, 1968, in Canton, Ronda was a proud graduate of North Jackson High School, Class of 1986.

She devoted over thirty years to her career in the military, where her commitment and leadership earned her the rank of Senior Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force.

Throughout her life, Ronda embraced her passions with vigor. She received her private pilot's license, showcasing her adventurous spirit. Alongside her husband, she was a member of the Hollywood Nights Car Club, sharing her love for classic cars. Ronda found joy in crafting and sewing. She also cherished moments spent on Lake Erie on their boat, where she and her family enjoyed their time on the water.

Ronda is survived by her husband, Edward M. Esker Jr., whom she married May 8, 1999; her beloved sons, Isaac (Alice Deckard) Esker of Boardman and Tyler (Cadin Tsvetkoff) Esker of Diamond; her mother, Marie (Thomas) Danes of Canfield; her step-siblings, Anita Danes and Jeffrey (Katherine) Danes.; and her in-laws; extended family and friends.

Ronda was preceded in death by her father, Dale Thomas.

In honor of Ronda's life and service to her country, there will be Funeral Services on Tuesday February 10, 2026 at 2 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel with military honors. Family and friends may call from 11 to 2 PM prior to the services.

Ronda will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered for her strength, kindness, and the light she brought into the lives of so many.
