Robert F. Ohl, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, at The Inn at Ironwood at the age of 84.

He was born September 23, 1941 in Youngstown, a son of Randall and Blanche Mansfield Ohl.

A proud graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Robert served in the United States Navy from February 18, 1963, to January 24, 1967, during the Vietnam War. His dedication to his country shaped his character and instilled in him a sense of duty that he carried into his civilian life. After his honorable discharge, Robert joined NCR, where he worked for 30 years as a cash register repairman.

Robert had a passion for classic cars and enjoyed spending time watching television,

He is survived by his sons, Brian (Lauren) Ohl of Canfield and Bob (Audrey) Ohl of Boardman; his sister, Barbara (Jack) Sherwood of Bend, OR.; and two grandchildren, Sadie and Oliver Ohl.

Per Robert's wishes, private family services were held on Friday at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 979 Tibbetts Wick Road A, Girard, Ohio 44420.

Professional arrangements were handled by Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
