POLAND - Paul Alan Hollis, 78, passed away on October 17, 2026, leaving behind a family who will deeply miss his laughter, generosity, and unmistakable sense of humor.

Born on May 29, 1948, to Harold and Jean Hollis,

Paul served his country in the United States Navy as a Signalman during the Vietnam war and was a member of American Legion Post 235.

He retired from PepsiCo after many years of employment, carrying with him countless stories and friendships with coworkers who became an important part of his life.

Above all, Paul thoroughly enjoyed his children and grandchildren. He was a social butterfly, quick with a joke, and always ready with an anecdote that could make everyone laugh. His seemingly endless "Dadabase" ensured there was always another punchline waiting. His family will remember his sage advice, random messages and short videos, and the sporadic jokes that could brighten an ordinary day.

Paul found pleasure in feeding his birds, collecting football and baseball cards, and watching-and shopping on-QVC. His purchases often became gifts for those he loved, whether a set of Lock N Lock containers or a delicious steak. Sharing his latest finds was one of the many ways he showed his affection.

With loving humor, his children describe him as a "borderline hoarder" and look forward to discovering the treasures he tucked away throughout his home. Each find will offer another glimpse of their Dad and another story to share. Even his short stature and the little "frog legs" his family affectionately teased him about will be remembered with tenderness and smiles.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Dennis) Gajdos, and grandchildren Nicholas (Abby), Michael (Alexis), Isabella (Ethan), and Marialana (Andrei); his son, Scott (Jody) Hollis, and granddaughters Tracii, Marissa (Christian), and Jenna; his daughter, Tiffany (Deric) Masi, and grandchildren Bobby (Cadi), Deric Jr. (Olivia), Cameron (Dana), Justyn (Kirsten), and Stephen;and his daughter, Staci (Sarah) Hollis, and bonus grandson, Aidan. He also leaves seven great-grandchildren, with two more on the way, his mother-in-law, Betty Burger, and also his best and long time friend Timothy Gordon, affectionately known as "Mook".

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Christine, who passed away in 2013. They shared nearly 27 years of marriage, and Paul adored her. His family finds comfort in remembering their love and imagining them together again. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Jean Hollis, and his siblings, Jeanie, Tyler, and Christopher.

Paul meant so many things to so many people, it is impossible to put it all into a few small paragraphs.

Paul leaves his family with a lifetime of stories, laughter, and small reminders of his love. His chair may be empty and his messages may no longer arrive, but his voice-and surely another joke-will remain close in the hearts of those who knew him.

Together again with Christine, and forever loved by the family he leaves behind.
