Pasquale “Patsy” Frattaroli

STRUTHERS - Pasquale "Patsy" Frattaroli, passed away peacefully at his home on May 2, 2025, at the age of 79.

He was born on October 22, 1945, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Cesidio Frattaroli and the former, Marietta D’Eramo.

A 1963 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Patsy furthered his education by obtaining a business degree from Youngstown College. His professional journey began as a young teen at Cochran’s Sparkle Market, where he started bagging groceries and eventually becoming manager. In 1986, he ventured into business with his brother Tony, co-owning Frattaroli’s Sparkle Market in Struthers and later in New Middletown.

Patsy enjoyed golf and cherished moments spent vacationing, especially in beloved locations such as San Francisco and Las Vegas. He was a devout Yankees fan. Those who knew him were well aware of his adoration for his two loyal companions, dogs Zeus and Abby, who were by his side until the end.

Patsy never met a stranger and could make a friend anywhere he went.

He is survived by his wife, the former, Marianne Ruane; daughters, Megan (Jason) Frattaroli and Rebecca (William) Baird; loving grandson, Ryan George; granddaughters, Lily and Zoe Baird; sisters in law, Margaret Frattaroli and Paula Kirk; niece, Felicia (Dr. Scott) Tofil; his nephew who was like a son, Tony (Karen) Frattaroli; and the multitude of friends whose lives he touched.

In addition to his parents, Patsy was preceded in death by his sister, Felicia DeVito and brother, Anthony Frattaroli.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, 2726 Center Rd. Prayers will begin at 10:15am on Wednesday May 7, 2025, at the funeral home, followed by an 11am Mass of Christian Burial at Christ Our Savior St. Nicholas Church. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
