Bedford, TX- Funeral Services will be Noon Saturday, at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, in Austintown, Ohio for Mrs. Odora Lenora Davis of Bedford, Texas, formerly of Austintown.
Odora was born September 11, 1925 in Kankakee, Illinois to the late Neddie and Jeanette Francoeur.
Mrs. Davis was trained to be a nurse during WWII and completed her nurse's training at the Silver Cross Hospital School of Nursing in Joliet, Illinois in 1946. She was formally recognized as a registered nurse by the State of Illinois in 1947.
She is survived by her three sons, Randall E. Davis, of Girard, married to Karen; Daniel J. Davis of Dallas, Texas, married to Megan; and Timothy J. Davis of Indianapolis, Indiana. She has four surviving grandchildren: Blake, Clayton, Heidi, and Weston. She has two surviving sisters; Gertrude and Stella, and one surviving brother, Bud.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, E. Ray Davis, whom she married June 11, 1947; he passed away August 1, 1990.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday prior to services.
Burial in Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown, Ohio.
