CANFIELD - Nancy L. Ryan, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, at the age of 91.
She was born on March 27, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of John Vincent TenBieg and the former Marie Gertrude Terwest.
Nancy graduated from Mount Notre Dame High School in Cincinnati in 1952 and received her Bachelors Degree in Art from Cardinal Stritch University in 1956.
Nancy dedicated many years as an office manager at Masters Painting and Sheeting. She was a pillar in her community at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown. Her passion for service was evident in the many roles she undertook, including serving as president of the altar guild and as a Eucharistic minister for the homebound. Nancy also found joy in organizing spaghetti dinners, funeral dinners, and reverse raffles.
A talented artist at heart, Nancy expressed her creativity through ceramics and handmade cards. Friends and family were often delighted to receive her thoughtful birthday, Christmas, and Valentine's Day cards.
Baking was another of Nancy's loves; she frequently shared her delicious pies and cookies with those around her. Nancy also found fulfillment in teaching CCD at St. Patrick Church and volunteering in the cafeteria at Holy Family. Her love for swimming led her to enjoy time at the Ursuline Mother House, and later, at the YMCA in Cincinnati.
