Nancy J. Logero

YOUNGSTOWN - Nancy J. Logero, passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 69.

Born on June 15, 1955, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Mildred Kasmer Ferrell.

Nancy was a proud graduate of Ursuline High School, class of 1973.

Throughout her life, Nancy embodied dedication and compassion, evident in her long-standing commitment to the welfare of animals. As the President of All About The Pawz dog shelter, she devoted herself tirelessly to the care and protection of dogs in need, fostering a safe haven for countless furry friends. Her passion for this cause became the cornerstone of her life, showcasing her unwavering love for animals and her belief in their rightful place in our community.

In addition to her role at the shelter, Nancy began her career at the Mahoning County Public Library.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Marc of Youngstown, Michael of Youngstown, and Matthew Logero of Youngstown; her grandchildren, Seth, Madilynn, Aria, and one on the way in June; a great grandchild, Eris; her sisters, Kathleen (Tom) Moore of Hanoverton, Debbie DelQuadri of Austintown and Jackie Ferrell of Youngstown; and her brother, Jerry (Debbie) Ferrell of Boardman.

The family will hold services to honor Nancy’s memory on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 1:00PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel. Prior to services family and friends may pay their respects from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
