Boardman Twp, -- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at St. Mary Magdaleen Parish, St. Christine Church for Mary Denise Naughton, 75, of Boardman. Mary, who was better known as Denise, passed away Friday evening, August 28, 2026, at her home. She was born on September 12, 1950, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Waren and Mary (Osso) Randel.
Denise was a graduate of North High School, class of 1968 and received her bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University. She worked as a lab technician with Bio Medical Laboratories for 35 years, retiring in 2022.
Denise was a member of St. Christine's for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Family was the most important thing to Denise, and she always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their school and sporting events.
Denise leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Dan Naughton and his wife Sara of Youngstown, Jeff Naughton of Boardman, and Brian Naughton and his wife Chrsitina, of Strongsville, six grandchildren whom she adored, Ryder, Logan, Lilliana, James, Jacob, and Lucy, two sisters, Kathy Price and her husband Bob of Lowellville, and Lynn Krause and her husband Kenny of Lowellville, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends may call from 9 until 10:30 AM Thursday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman- Canfield Chapel where closing prayers will begin at 10:30 AM and then process to St. Christine's Church for a mass to begin at 11 AM.
Denise will be laid to rest in St. John's Cemetery on Villa Marie Road close to her parents.
