NORTH JACKSON - Mary Beth Hauck, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at the age of 78.
She was born March 16, 1947 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Karl and Elizabeth Hernan Gondel.
A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Beth dedicated her life to her family. She graduated from Ursuline High School in 1965 and went on to become a receptionist for various orthopedic doctors in the area for a few years before becoming a mother.
Beth was not just defined by her career; she was a talented poet and painter. She had a particular passion for Civil War history, a love of Gettysburg, and an appreciation for old Victorian colonial homes, often sharing her insights and enthusiasm with those around her.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kristen Brestelli of Boardman; her son, Tommy (Alphia) Hauck of Bristolville; and her cherished grandchildren, Karlie and Karter Brestelli.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Hauck, whom she married July 27, 1968 and passed away April 2, 2025; son-in-law, Paul Brestelli; sister, Carol DelFraino, and brother, Thomas Gondel.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the calling hours at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, 2726 Center Road, on January 22, 2026, from 4 to 6 PM.
