Mary Ann Rezek

Jul 26, 1935 — Oct 9, 2026

NORTH JACKSON - Mary Ann Rezek, 91, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at Antonine Village.

She was born on July 26, 1935, in Erie, Pa., and grew up on the North Side of Youngstown.

She attended St. Edward Elementary School and Ursuline High School.

On June 6, 1959, Mary Ann married Richard Rezek Sr. Together, they settled in Boardman, where they built their life and raised their four children.

Mary Ann and Richard were active members of St. Luke's Church in Boardman and shared 60 years of marriage until Richard's passing on Nov. 15, 2019.

Mary Ann worked outside the home for 20 years in the insurance industry. She made friends easily and loved to socialize, especially at family parties. Her longtime friends from Ursuline High School "club" remained among her dearest friends throughout her life. To them, Mary Ann was lovingly known as "Jeep."

Mary Ann loved to travel, and one of her favorite destinations was the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Those beach trips were especially meaningful because they brought her family together. She often marveled at how wonderful it was that her family was "all together" at the beach. These vacations created cherished memories and reflected how much family meant to her.
