Marie A. Paden

YOUNGSTOWN - Marie A. Paden, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, at the age of 92.

She was born on April 19, 1933, in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Joseph Meranto and the former Ursula Lambert.

Marie graduated from the Rayen School and was a lifelong resident of Youngstown.

She dedicated 20 years to being a valued employee at K-Mart in Austintown, and afterwards, she continued her career at Big Lots in Austintown.

Marie is survived by her loving children, Ursula Marie Blewitt, of Youngstown, Charles R. (Kim) Paden, of Austintown, and Robert M. (Kay) Paden, of Merrysville, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, Jeremy Dalrymple, Lisa Debs, Audra DeBord, Nicole Paden, and Kristen Kotheimer; 11 great grandcchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Marie married Charles Paden on October 3, 1953 and he preceded her in death in July 1983.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Moliterno and three brothers, Ralph, Joseph, and Albert Meranto.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
