Poland ? There will be services Tuesday at 1 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Margaret I Kornick, age 89, who passed away Friday morning at the Hospice House.
Margaret was born August 4, 1918 in Youngstown, the daughter of Dabney and Ethel Frailey Leitch.
Margaret was a 1935 graduate of South High School. She owned and operated Campbell Florist for many years with her husband. She was a member of Christ Community Church in Campbell. Margaret was also a member of Christian Women and the Jednota Club.
Her husband Michael Kornick whom she married in 1950 passed away February of 1979
Margaret leaves two daughters Corinne Gorby of Akron and Carolyn Little of Youngstown; two grandchildren Kevin Little of Campbell and Kathy Lynn Little of Akron; four nieces Alyson, Sandy, Carol and Pam; and three nephews Tom, Bill and Greg.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister Martha Hagan; and a brother William Leitch.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from Noon to 1PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests material tributes take the form of donations to the Hospice House.
