Margaret Binashesky, fondly known as “Peggy,” passed away Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, at Hospice House.
She was born Feb. 18, 1938, in McKeesport, Pa., to the late John and Margaret Polatas Palyo.
Peggy received an associate degree in medical assisting and excelled in her chosen profession. Before her marriage, Peggy worked as a medical consultant.

Aside from her career and church involvement, Peggy had a rich array of hobbies and interests. She was an avid reader, finding joy and inspiration between the pages of countless books. Cooking was another passion of hers; Peggy delighted in preparing delicious meals.
Peggy’s adventurous spirit led her to attend the Wide World of Travel School in Schererville, Indiana. Following her studies, she went on to work as a cruise consultant.
Peggy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul E. Binashesky, whom she married April 19, 1958. Paul passed away Oct. 31, 2017, leaving behind beautiful memories of their shared life together. Peggy and Paul’s daughter, Paula E. Treece, also preceded her in death; along with Peggy’s brother, John M. Palyo.
