Born on September 23, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pa., a son of the late Louis and Italia Scotti DeSimone.

A proud graduate of Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Louis went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from Youngstown College. He spent his professional career as a salesman with Youngstown Sheet and Tube and Sharon Steel, leaving a lasting impression on his colleagues and clients alike. His commitment to community extended beyond his career; for the past 40 years, he devoted his time and energy to planning the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Christmas Party, ensuring joy and camaraderie during the holidays for his colleagues and their families. He was also a talented artist and woodworker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Frances DeSimone, whom he married August 31, 1968; his daughters, Dr. Heather (Chris) Krehbiel and Stephanie (Christopher) Easton; his siblings, Salvatore DeSimone of Pittsburgh, Elouise Smerdel of Pittsburgh, and James (Loraine) DeSimone of New Port Richey, FL.; and three grandchildren, Steven Easton, Scott Easton, and Sarah Sasinowska.
