Lisa Parella-Fetty

CANFIELD - Lisa Parella-Fetty, 63, passed away peacefully at her home on September 4, 2025.

Born on December 8, 1961, in Youngstown, the daughter of Rudolph and Martha Loychik Parella.

A graduate of Villa Marie High School, Lisa furthered her education at Mount Union College. She began her professional journey as a bank teller at First Federal Bank, where she served the community for several years. Following this, in a testament to her family's legacy, she took over ownership of the family restaurant, The Oven, which was a cherished establishment in the area until its closure in 1998.

A proud member of St. Columba Cathedral, she actively served on the Parish Council.

Her dedication to youth and the love of the outdoors shone through in her involvement with the 4-H group, the Youngstown Tailwaggers, where she served as an advisor, inspiring and guiding the next generation. Lisa had a particular affinity for nature and treasured trips to the beaches of Florida, where she felt most at home surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors. Equally important to her were the relationships she cultivated, especially with her beloved dogs, who provided her with companionship and joy.

Lisa took immense pride in her children, DJ (Josie) Fetty of New Castle, Alexis (James) Shagla of Canfield, and Matthew Fetty of Boardman. Her role as a mother was one of her proudest accomplishments, but her heart truly blossomed in the love she held for her five grandchildren, Dakota, Adrian, Jaxon, Nolan, and Poppy.

Lisa also leaves behind her mother, Marty Parella of Boardman, along with her brother, Gregory (Michelle) Parella of Canfield; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rudolph Parella.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects September 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home - Boardman-Canfield Chapel, located at 3701 Starr’s Centre Drive in Canfield, OH, where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM.
