Lawrence Boros

YOUNGSTOWN - Prayers will begin Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church for Lawrence A. "Larry" Boros, 76, who died Thursday afternoon at Camelot Arms Nursing Home.

Larry was born Oct. 12, 1938, in Cleveland, to Nicholas and Edith T. Boros.

Larry had worked at Meander Tire Co. for many years as a janitor, and previously for Youngstown State University, Phar-Mor, and Goodwill.

Larry participated in the Special Olympics, enjoyed bowling and baseball.

Larry is survived by three brothers, Raymond Boros of Arizona, Eugene Boros of Indiana, and Kenneth Boros of Deerfield; and his longtime caretaker, Lillian.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
