Julia Marie Zublena

YOUNGSTOWN — Julia Zublena, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025.

Julia was born May 24, 1932, in Youngstown, to Anthony and Mable True Inhouse. Her mother died during childbirth. Julia was raised by her father and stepmother, Josephine Masi Inhouse.

Julia graduated from Ursuline High School and married Robert Zublena on May 8, 1954, at Immaculate Conception Church. They shared 31 wonderful years together until his passing on Aug. 27, 1985.She was a homemaker who loved vacationing in Las Vegas, going to bingo, visiting Hollywood Gaming and dancing at Avon Oaks Ballroom.

She is survived by her children, Gary (Julie) Zublena of Youngstown, Rick (Karen) Zublena of Canfield and Jackie Haladay of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, David and Robert Fusillo, Robert and Lindsay Zublena, Tony and Kady Haladay, and Jared (Alexandria) Spayd.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert; her grandson, Gary Robert Jr.; and her three stepbrothers, John, Art and Gene Vinings of Chillicothe.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of Aventura at Humility House and Harmony Hospice for the special care they gave to Julia for the past 1 1/2 years.

Family and friends may call 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, 4303 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 p.m.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
