Judy A. Prosen

AUSTINTOWN - Judy A. Prosen, 79, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, at Shepherd of the Valley.

She was born on Feb. 22, 1947, in Clarksburg, W.Va., a daughter of Pete and Anna Matish Plivelich.

Judy was a hairdresser by trade and chose to be a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Christine Church.

Her husband, Joseph E. Prosen, whom she married on June 19, 1971, preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 2002.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Judy was laid to rest in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.

At her request, there were no calling hours or services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oblate Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Hubbard or to Pilot Dogs, in Columbus.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
