CANFIELD — Joseph J. Dutko, 78, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, at his home.
Joseph, affectionately known as “The Duck,” was born on Oct. 20, 1947, in Youngstown, a son of Joseph Clarence Dutko and the former Helen Flintosh.
A 1965 graduate of Campbell High School, Joseph worked at General Motors as a towmotor driver. His commitment to hard work was only matched by his passion for life and his love for the game of golf. Joseph served as the secretary for the St. Joseph Church men’s golf league and was an assistant golf coach at Ursuline High School, contributing to the game beyond just playing.
Joseph cherished the time spent with friends over lunches and dinners. He loved riding his bike and was gentle, kind and sarcastic, with a one-of-a-kind sense of humor.
Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph Dutko of Munroe Falls; daughter, Robin (John) Grabowski of Howland; his honey, Raymie Walsh; three grandchildren, Joey (Lindsey) Dutko, Jessica (David) Bishop and Max Grabowski; great-grandchild, Isabella Bishop; and brothers-in-law, Bob Zeisloft and Brian Wolfe.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Pannunzio Dutko, and sisters, Helen Zeisloft and Dorothy Wolfe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at St. Blaise Parish-St. Joseph Church. Calling hours will be 9 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church.
