CANFIELD - Joseph J. Dutko, 78, passed away on November 18, 2025.
Joseph, affectionately known as "The Duck" was born on October 20, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Joseph Clarence Dutko and the former Helen Flintosh.
A 1965 graduate of Campbell High School, Joseph worked at General Motors as a Tow Motor Driver. His commitment to hard work was only matched by his passion for life and his love for the game of golf. Joseph served as the secretary for the St. Joseph Church men's golf league and was an assistant golf coach at Ursuline High School, contributing to the game beyond just playing.
Joseph cherished the time spent with friends over lunches and dinners. He loved riding his bike and was gentle, kind, and sarcastic, with a one-of-a-kind sense of humor.
Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph Dutko, of Munroe Falls; daughter, Robin (John) Grabowski, of Howland; his honey, Raymie Walsh; three grandchildren, Joey (Lindsey) Dutko, Jessica (David) Biship, and Max Grabowski; great-grandchild, Isabella Bishop; brothers-in-law, Bob Zeisloft and Brian Wolfe.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Pannunzio Dutko and sisters, Helen Zeisloft and Dorothy Wolfe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, November 24, 2025 at St. Joseph Church, St. Blaise Parish. Calling hours will be held prior to the mass from 9am to 10:45am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
