Jenny Bajgier, a remarkable woman, passed away on September 18, 2025, just shy of her 95th birthday.
Born on September 25, 1930, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Jenny dedicated her life to the service of others with passion and grace. As a devoted cardiovascular nurse at St. Elizabeth Youngstown, she touched the lives of countless patients throughout her distinguished career. Her unwavering commitment to her profession was mirrored in her lifelong dedication to her health, as she never missed a check-up with her trusted physician, Dr. Howard Slemons, over a span of 30 years.
Jenny was a woman of faith, deeply rooted in her Catholic beliefs. She was an active donor at St. Charles Church. Her zest for life was inspiring; she found joy in the little things and celebrated every holiday, anniversary, and birthday with a handwritten card-her excellent penmanship a testament to her loving attention to detail.
An avid Penn State fan, she brought joy to the home, and her affinity for Minnie Mouse reminded everyone that a touch of whimsy is never out of place. Jenny's love of reading and writing shone bright, often articulated in her beautifully crafted poetry. Her meticulous nature extended to her finances, as she maintained budgets and financial notes with impressive precision.Above all, Jenny loved her family fiercely. The bonds she nurtured with her friends from Pennsylvania, especially Caroline and Howard, remained steadfast throughout the years, despite the distance. She cherished these connections and missed them deeply.
Jenny will be missed immensely, but her spirit remains alive in the hearts of those who loved her. The family wishes to express their gratitude to her neighbors, whose kindness and thoughtful gestures demonstrated the depth of her community ties. They watched over her, sending cards and treats to remind her of the love that surrounded her.
Jenny is survived by her nephews, Don (Diana) Constantini and Ben Constantini; great nephews, Mark Constantini and Brad Constantini; and great Nieces, Lori Constantini and Carrie (Jared).
