AUSTINTOWN – Jacqueline M. Donofrio, 68, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025.
She was born June 11, 1957, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Daniel Anthony Donofrio Jr. and Mary Louise DiMargio Donofrio.
Jackie was a 1975 graduate of Chaney High School and she worked as the lead dispatcher at Roth Brothers, from where she later retired.
Jackie cherished relationships with those around her and was an avid lover of animals, though her greatest joy came from her family. She enjoyed every opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends, especially during her vacations with her children and grandchildren. Jackie had a fire about her that seemed to light up a room whenever she walked in. She had a way of drawing people to her and holding you with a love that was one of a kind. Some would refer to her as being born to be a mother. The world felt like a better place while she was in it. Her smile, her laugh and her personality was something only she could have and get away with. She will be missed and cherished by everyone who knew her and was lucky enough to be loved by her.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Phillip Ambrosini; sons, Anthony (Lauren) Rago of Canfield and Ryan Herman of Youngstown; sister, Kathy Latone of Austintown; brother, Daniel (Denise) Donofrio III of Brookfield; grandchildren, Ariana and Elisa Rago, and RJ Herman; nieces, Nicole (Michael) Crockett and Krista (Esther) Byers; nephews, John Latone and Allen (Alyssa) Byers; great-nieces, Mya Crockett and Gia Latone; and great-nephews, Christian Latone, and Nicholas and Alexander Byers.
Family and friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, with services to follow, officiated by Monsignor Zuraw, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield, 3701 Starrs Centre Drive. Private burial in Calvary Cemetery will follow the services.
