Hope L. Graham

CANFIELD — Hope L. Graham, 70, of Canfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

She was born on Dec. 19, 1955, in Youngstown, a daughter of Harold Johnson and Hulda Metzler Johnson. 

Hope earned her bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and went on to become a nurse at North Side Hospital, Shepherd of the Valley and Ivy Woods. 

Hope found joy in gardening and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed the challenge of refurbishing furniture and antiques. Above all, Hope cherished her family. 

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jeff Chance Sr.; daughter, Tiffani (Austin Skovran) Chance; sons, Nicholas Graham and Jeffrey Chance Jr.; brother, Craig (Cathy) Johnson; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Jones and Jessica Caras, Harold, David, Gary Jr. and Adam Johnson, Christine Fodale, Cheri DeLuca, Carey Tribuzio, Chad Johnson, Phillip Chance Jr., Missy Bruner and Michele Santarelli.

In addition to her parents, Hope was preceded in death by her sister, Gayle Caras and her brother, Gary Johnson Sr. 

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Ave. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.

She will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
