Struthers....Funeral Services will be held at 9:15AM Monday at the Higgins-Reardon
Funeral Home Poland Chapel and 10:00AM at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers for Helen I. Cepin age 88 of Struthers who died Wednesday evening at her residence.
Mrs. Cepin was born June 4, 1915 in Youngstown the daughter of Michael and Mary Adamko Farkas and was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1935 graduate of East High
School and a member of its class reunion committee. She had worked as a cook at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home and as a partner with her husband in the Logan Sign Co. and was also a homemaker.
She was a member of the church, its Altar and Rosary Society and the Senior Citizens Group. She was also a member of Trinity Fellowship Senior Citizens and AARP Chapter 3105 in Struthers. She was past president and a member of the executive board of the Struthers Manor Council.
Her husband John J. Cepin, Jr. whom she married July 27, 1940 died April 1, 1995.
She leaves a daughter Mary Ann Robert Bonish of Struthers, two sons John Patricia Cepin, III of Tuscon, Arizona and Richard Elisabeth Cepin of Campbell, a sister Rita Dota of Youngstown, 9 grandchildren: Eric, Joel, Wesley, Jeffrey, Stacie, Ryan Cepin,
Rebecca Testa, Beth and Kathryn Bonish and two great grandchildren: Ashton Cepin and
Lainey.
Besides her husband and parents she was preceeded in death by 4 sisters Mary Sokol, Elizabeth Barone, Ann Louise Farkas and Dorothy Klucaric; and three brothers Joseph,
Martin and Michael Farkas.
Friends may call from 4PM to 7PM on Sunday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home
Poland Chapel.
