Glenn Donnell Dyke

CANFIELD -- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenn "Don" Dyke, who departed this life peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026.

Born on Sept. 9, 1944, in Salem, he was a graduate of Columbiana High School. Glenn and his wife Sandra built a legacy of love, passion, and dedication.

Glenn was a devoted father to his children, Jodi (Michael) McBride, Bobby (Brandy) Dyke and Shawn (Terri) Dyke; and a cherished brother to Robert (Carolyn ) Dyke. His legacy also lives on through his beloved grandchildren, Britnee and Dakota Ledsome, Shawn Dyke Jr., Blayne (Cassie) Dyke, Paige (Sawyer), Rylee, Cooper and Ryan McBride; and great-grandchildren, Lacey, Dakota Jr., Aida, Kenslee, Thorin, Olivia and Blayde, who brought him immense joy. Glenn also cherished his sister-in-law, Dee Dee Lathrop.

With a career spanning many years in management at 7Up/Dr. Pepper, Glenn was known not only for his professional expertise but also for his unwavering work ethic. When he wasn't managing teams, Glenn pursued his passions with great enthusiasm.

He derived great satisfaction from yard work, reveling in the beauty of nature that he cultivated around him. Additionally, Glenn had a fondness for drag racing, enjoying the thrill and camaraderie that came with it.

Glenn was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra Lathrop Dyke; and his parents, Glenn and Helen Dyke

As we remember Glenn, we draw comfort from the countless memories, laughter and lessons he imparted. His spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

Glenn will be laid to rest in Lake Park Cemetery.
