Canfield - Genevieve Platt, 67, of Canfield passed away Friday morning at Austinwoods Nursing Home.
She was born on January 3, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of Fred and Irene Walker Collet.
She was a graduate of St. Peter's High School. She was a homemaker. She was a an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by her husband James Platt whom she married September 14, 1959; four daughters Genevieve Houston, Margaret Wardle, Joyce Stockdale, and Linda Dunn; a sister Rita Brophy; a brother Fred Collet; and seven grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a son James Platt.
There will be no calling hours or services.
