Gary Miller

AUSTINTOWN-Memorial services will be held Saturday evening at 6:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Gary A. Miller age 46 of Austintown who passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday evening following an extended illness with family at his side. Gary was born October 19, 1957, in Youngstown, the son of Richard M. and Sandra J. Weston Miller. Shortly after his graduation from Austintown Fitch High School in 1976, he moved to South Florida where he had worked for 20 years for several leading furniture companies traveling extensively as a sales representative. He returned to Austintown in 1998, and continued to work in sales for several local companies, including MCI, Goldsteins, and Poland Furniture. In his free time he was a creative artist, and is remembered for his ability to see and appreciate the beauty in everything, especially the natural beauty of Mill Creek Park, music, and the many friends and associates he made during his life. He also enjoyed cooking, and gathering his family together to celebrate life's special occasions, which he memorialized with his gift of photography. Gary was a Christian and regularly attended mass at St. Christine, and Holy Name Church. He is survived by his father, Richard M. Miller with whom he made his home, four brothers, Richard, Michael Nancy, Russell Collette, and Brian Miller, two sisters, Diane Kenneth Senyo, and Jennifer Joel Armstrong, and six nephews, and nieces, Michael John, Valerie, Caitlyn, Travis, Clayton, and Isaac. He was preceded in death by his mother Sandra J. Miller, his maternal grandparents Calvin and Martha Weston, and his paternal grandparents Michael J., and Anna M. Miller. Friends may call from 4 PM to 6 PM Saturday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home. The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
