Evelyn Pantalone Davis, 92, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at her home on March 13, 2024. She was the heart of her family and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Born on January 18, 1932, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Stigliano Pantalone.

Evelyn's life was marked by dedication to her loved ones and meaningful contributions to her community. She graduated from Mineral Ridge High School in 1950 and later pursued further education at Kent State University.

Evelyn's career was defined by her time in the Payroll Department at General Electric, where she not only excelled professionally but also found the love of her life. Evelyn married William A. Davis on July 11, 1953. Their marriage was a source of strength and companionship for over seven decades.

In 1975, Evelyn and William moved to Winchester, VA, where Evelyn served as the director of the Red Cross. Retirement led them to Memphis, TN, and Lakeland Florida,  In 2020, they returned to Youngstown to be closer to their growing family.

Throughout her life journey, Evelyn found solace, strength, and community in her Christian faith; initially at Warren 1st Assembly Church, where she actively participated in the choir and served as a Sunday School teacher, then in retirement at Victory Church in Lakeland, FL, where she and William developed life-long friendships, and finally at Highway Tabernacle

In her leisure time, Evelyn found joy in cooking for loved ones and hosting gatherings that brought family and friends together. Her warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Evelyn is survived by her husband; her children, Douglas (Sharon) Davis of Leesburg, VA, Kathleen Cirelli of Boardman and Thomas (Becky) Davis of Griffin, GA; eight grandchildren,  Todd (Brandi) Dawson, Kyle (Marina) Davis, Jordan Davis, Jason (Emily) Davis, Joseph (Katie) Cirelli, Jonathan Davis, Michael (Katie) Cirelli, and Lydia (Daniel) Jorden; ten great-grandchildren whom she cherished dearly, Alexandria (Chris), Hannah, Paige, Sammy, Brooklyn, Isabella, Annalina, Viviana, Oliver, and arriving soon, Cecilia; sister, Leah (Donald) Johnson of New Market, Maryland; sister-in-law,  Jean Pantalone of Cleveland.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Joseph A. Cirelli; sister, Ruth (Frank) Deltino; and brothers, John (Angie), Ben (Fran), Jim ( Miriam) and Phillip Pantalone.

Visitation for Evelyn will take place on Sunday, March 17 from 2 to 4 PM at Highway Tabernacle Church, where a funeral service will follow at 4 PM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Highway Tabernacle Church, 3000 S Raccoon Rd, Youngstown, OH 44515 or  Pregnancy Help Center, 4825 Market Street #13, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
