YOUNGSTOWN - Elaine Frances Williams, born on October 30, 1951, in Youngstown, passed away on July 28, 2026 at the age of 74.
A cherished member of her community and a steadfast friend to many, Elaine leaves behind a legacy of kindness, music, and compassion that will resonate for years to come.
A proud graduate of Boardman High School in 1970, Elaine continued her education at Youngstown State University. She had a successful career as an office manager at New Horizon Bookkeeping.
Elaine was an active member of Millcreek Community Methodist Church, where she shared her passion for music. A talented musician, she devoted many joyous years as a member of the church choir and served as the former music director. Since 2000, she has generously volunteered her time to play the church's keyboard.
Beyond her contributions to music and her workplace, Elaine dedicated herself to serving her community. A devoted volunteer, she lovingly prepared and served free meals every other month.
Known for her unparalleled hosting skills, Elaine transformed her cozy home into a gathering place filled with laughter, warmth, and celebration. Though her home may have been small, her spirit was larger than life, ensuring that every family gathering was a cherished memory.
Family was everything to Elaine. She took immense pride in caring for her loved ones, nurturing bonds that will continue to thrive in the hearts of those she touched.
Elaine is survived by her daughters, Kara (Josh) Ehret and Jennifer (Benny) Ferone both of Austintown; two grandchildren, Elijah and Ember Ehret; two brothers, Joseph Hanna and Robert Hanna of Boardman; and a sister-in-law, Judi Hanna of Woodstock, GA.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel A. and Rose Felicia Jordan Hanna; her beloved husband, Charles Williams, whom she married January 24, 1975 and passed away July 20, 2007; her sister, Dee (David) Texter; and a brother, Raymond Hanna.
Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
A Celebration of Elaine's life will be held on Friday at 11 AM at Millcreek Community Methodist Church, where calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 AM at the church.
