Dorothy Ballish

Dorothy, affectionately known as “Dot,” was born Nov. 27, 1927, in Sharon, Pa., a daughter of Alex and Lucille Mileski Napieroski.

Dot attended the Shenango Valley commercial school, where she received her secretarial certificate. She then married the late Paul Jerome Ballish on April 30, 1960, and became a homemaker raising her three children.

She is survived by her daughters, Lorie A. (Rick) Zaremski of Canfield, Diane (Don) Olenik of Lake Milton; son, Dave Ballish of Transfer, Pa.; and four grandchildren, Billy and Matt Zaremski, and Nicole and Adam Ballish.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dot was preceded in death by her sisters, Sophia Espey and Victoria Simon; and her brother, Stanley Kosky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024, at St. Michael Church in Canfield. She will be laid to rest in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery.
