NORTH JACKSON - Private family services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, North Jackson Chapel, for Donna J. Hutchinson, 57, who died Saturday evening after a three year battle with cancer.
Donna was born April 15, 1955, in Youngstown, the daughter of James and Norma Brocious Shaffer.
She was a 1973 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and a former member of the Coitsville Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Hutchinson, whom she married Nov. 21, 1987; her mother, Norma Shaffer of Yulee, Fla.; a daughter, Jennifer Hutchinson and a son, Shane Hutchinson, both of New Carlisle; a grandson, Shane Sheets; a sister, Wanda Dan St Clair of Yulee, Fla.; and a brother, Ronald Shaffer of Pearland, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Alan Shaffer.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society in Donna's memory.
