Deborah M. Ramsey

AUSTINTOWN - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah M. Ramsey, 54, on September 5, 2025 at the Hospice House.

She was born on March 21, 1971, in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of Deborah Sinibaldi Simpson and James Lawrence. Deborah graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1989 and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in History from Youngstown State University. Her passion for education led her to a fulfilling career as a Spanish tutor. She also worked at Denny’s where she truly enjoyed being a waitress. Deborah had a deep love for reading, fashion, and all things beautiful and sparkling. She loved Barbie dolls. Deborah found joy in the company of her grandchildren and family. Her playful spirit was evident in her love for board games, especially Trivial Pursuit, and she could often be found enjoying the music of the '70s. She embraced social media, particularly Facebook, as a way to connect with friends and family. Deborah was a passionate animal activist.

She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, kindness and thoughtfulness for others and her love for her family. She is survived by her mother, Deborah Simpson; her daughter, Chelsea (Joseph Rudolphi) Ramsey; her brother, Anthony (Elaine Tolbert) Simpson; sister, Crystal Lawrence Dow; grandchildren, Nevaeh and Olivia Rudolphi; uncle, Dean (Julia) Sinibaldi; aunts, Lynn Swanson and Jeanette Collonworth; neice, Taylor Simpson; nephew, Ethan Simpson; great-nieces, Avery and Adelynn Simpson; cousins, Karen Petrella and Jan Sternagel; step father, Richard Simpson; her cat, Boom and her dog, Enzo.

Deborah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anthony and Inez Sinibaldi; uncle, Tony Sinibaldi; and her aunt, Ida Markovic.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 6pm on Monday, September 15, 2025 at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Ave. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
