Daniel D'Amico

Daniel D'Amico passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026. He was born on August 28, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Nicholas and Mary (Costello) D'Amico, and spent most of his life in the Youngstown area.

After graduating from Chaney High School, Daniel joined the United States Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he married his high school sweetheart, Donna Eckenrode, Daniel later built a career in finance at Nissan of Boardman. Outside of work, he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Daniel is survived by his partner of 19 years, Debbie Northcott; his sister, Judy (Jim) Allison; his daughter, Angela (Bob) Cotteral; his son, Daniel (Poppy) D'Amico; his grandchildren, Trent (Emily) Lindsay, Alina (Jake) Meek, Ethan D'Amico, Valarie D'Amico, Sophie D'Amico, Hunter Mathie, Trevor Mathie, Emersyn Mathie, Mackenzie Casey Myers, and Gracie Northcott; and his two great-grandchildren, Finn and Maeve Lindsay.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Mary D'Amico; his wife, Donna D'Amico; and his brother, Nick D'Amico.
