Craig T. Heinz

YOUNGSTOWN - Craig T. Heinz, passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 48.

Born on February 6, 1978, in Youngstown.

A proud 1996 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Craig dedicated many years of his life to serving his community as a firefighter with the Youngstown Fire Department. With 14 years of unwavering service, he was a beacon of courage and strength, often placing the safety of others above his own. After retiring from the fire department, Craig channeled his skills and passion into entrepreneurship, operating CTH Landscaping for ten years. He was known as a "Jack of all trades", fixing anything he could get his hands on.

Craig will be remembered most fondly by his wife, Jessica Spohn Heinz; his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth O'Neill Heinz of Austintown; and his brothers, Sean (Dee) Heinz of TX and Brian (Stacie) Heinz of Austintown; and his nieces and nephews, Lauren, Samantha, Avery, Logan, and Sophia.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Craig's life during a funeral service that will be held on Tuesday July 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.

Calling hours will take place on Monday July 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
