Charles "Kenny" Schreiber

MINERAL RIDGE - Charles "Kenny" Schreiber, 90, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 3, 2025 at his home.

Kenny was born Aug. 7, 1934 in Youngstown, the son of Carl and Kathryn Powers Schreiber.

He was a graduate of Ursuline High School and worked his entire career for Youngstown Steel Door until retiring.

Kenny had a huge heart and was known for being very generous with both his time and money. He donated school supplies and clothing to local school children. He often donated peanut butter and jelly to Immaculate Heart of Mary for the underprivileged and clothing for those without homes in Youngstown.

During family gatherings he was the master of joke telling, his wit and humor will be missed. He leaves behind his six nieces, eight great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Nancy Tkalec and Sally Absalom and his niece Pamela Bacak.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 11 am to noon at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.

The family would like to thank Chris and Joe Booth and their sons for their many years of friendship and love that was given to Kenny.
