Austintown - A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 AM Saturday, July 11, 2026, at St Joseph Church in Austintown, for Cecilia Czopur, 83, of Austintown who passed away Monday morning July 6, 2026, at Austinwoods Healthcare Center. Cecilia was born November 23, 1942, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Cecilia (Costello) Vossevell. Cecilia was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, class of 1960. She married the love of her life, Robert Czopur on December 30, 1961, and they were married for 61 years, until his passing August 20, 2023. She worked for the Austintown School District as a Paraprofessional Aid retiring in 2013. Cecilia loved spending time with her family. Being a loving wife, mother of two children and a grandmother to four as well as a sister who was a very important part of her life. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and crafting. She leaves her daughter, Patty Bokesch and her husband Mark of Austintown, her son Bob Czopur Jr. and his wife Joyce of Salem, four grandchildren Zac Czopur, Morgan (Kyle) Seaver, Kylie (Jeremy) Castro, and Casey Bokesch, as well as one sister, Jeannette Direnzo and her husband Tony of Austintown. Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Cecilia, and her husband Bob. Friends may call from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, where closing prayers will be held at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church. Private burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
