Catherine E Albaugh

Poland - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Holy Family Church in Poland, for Catherine E. Albaugh, 72, of Poland who passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at her home with her family.

Catherine was born August 5, 1953, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Frank Sr. and Martha (Park) Sarna. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, class of 1971 and attended Youngstown State. Catherine married the love of her life, Dennis Albaugh, on September 22, 1973, and together they raised three children. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a member of Holy Family Church as well as a lover of her dogs (including Cooper). She was a devoted grandmother and extremely proud of her grandchildren.

Catherine leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, Dennis M. Albaugh of Poland, three children, Chris Justice and her husband Jason, of Poland, Steve Albaugh and his wife Holly of Greenford, and Scott Albaugh and his wife Melinda of Poland, one sister, Mary Keffer of Howland, and one brother Frank Sanrna Jr. of Warren, as well as ten grandchildren, Nicolas, Mia, Jayla, Christian, Josh, Maggie, Katie, Peyton, Adam, and Jessica.

We want to thank Hospice of the Valley for all of their compassionate care and family support. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations towards hospice care or any animal charity organization.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Poland chapel where closing prayers will take place at 10:30 AM Thursday, February 19, and processing over to Holy Family Church for the mass starting at 11 AM.
