CANFIELD - Services will be Tuesday at 9:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and at 10:00 AM at St. Christine Church for Carol A. Zarlenga age 62 of Canfield who died Friday at her residence after a long-illness.
Carol was born June 24, 1942, in Youngstown, the daughter of Julius and Stella Kishton Cholensky.
She was a 1960 graduate of Chaney High School. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, friends, and her many pets.
She is survived by her husband Stephen A. Zarlenga whom she married November 4, 1961, a daughter Lisa Brian Frederick of Austintown, two sons Stephen Melissa Zarlenga II of New Waterford, Ohio, and Christopher Janet Zarlenga of Laguna Nigel, Cali., a sister Mary Jean Greene Cholensky of Austintown, and seven granchildren Thomas and Daniel Frederick, Cullen, Bonnie, Paden, Stephen III, and Elena Zarlenga.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 4 PM to 8 PM Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to the Palliative Unit of The Cleveland Clinic in her name.
