Blanche Marr

YOUNGSTOWN-Services will be Saturday morning at 11:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and at 12:00 Noon at St. Brendan Church for Blanche J. Marr age 91 of Omni Manor Care Center, formerly of North Bon Air Ave. who died Tuesday evening at Omni Manor.
Blanche was born September 23, 1912, in Venice, Italy, the daughter of Joseph and Louise Dinca Tibolla.
She came to this country as a child. She had worked at the former McKenzie Muffler, and at Sears, Woolworth, and Strouss Department Stores as a sales clerk.
She was a member of St. Brendan Church, its Altar and Rosary Society where she had formerly served as membership chairman, the St. Brendan, and Sts Peter and Paul 60 Plus Clubs, the Sam Camens Center, 500 card club, the bowling league at Gran Lanes, and the Missionary of the Sacred Heart, and Knights of Columbus Monsignor Mears council # 3930 Auxiliaries.
Her husband Harry Stephen Marr whom she married May 24, 1941, died May 12, 1989.
She is survived by two sons, Harry S. Marr of Katy, Texas, and Kenneth J. Marcia Marr of Solon, Ohio, a sister Mary Frances Vaccaro of Youngstown, and a brother Jack Jenny Tibolla of Youngstown, and four grandchildren, Amanda, Gregory, Meagan, and Jared.
