POLAND - Anthony T. "Tony" Zeno passed away peacefully on Saturday April 4th, 2026 surrounded by his family.
He was born October 30, 1940 to Joseph and Josephine Zeno in Canton, Ohio. He attended Canton Central Catholic High School and was a graduate of John Carroll University.
Tony married the love of his life, Susan "Hope" Zeno on September 4, 1965. He was a very active member of St. Luke Catholic Church for over 50 years as well as serving as the president of the Holy Name Society several times since the 1970s. He served in the United States Army and US Army Reserve from 1962 to 1969. Tony retired in 1997 as a United States Treasury Officer with the Department of Internal Revenue Service.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Josephine, his sister Patty Jo (Zeno) Feltz, and his wife, Susan "Hope" (Howard) Zeno.
Tony is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Joseph F. and Mary Zeno; his five grandchildren, Beth (Luke) Custer, Anthony (Summer McVicker), Mary Kate, Joseph, and Nick; and his great-grandson, Harrison. He is also survived by his "brother," Don Humphries.
His family would like to thank the many people who helped make his journey more comfortable: Judi, Debbie, Nikki, Marcia, Joyce, NaKeisha, Dennis, and especially Paul, who made it possible for Papa to remain at home peacefully.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 7th, from 4-7 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, 2726 Center Road.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 8th at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, St. Luke Church, 5235 South Avenue, at 11 AM with a mercy luncheon to follow.
Tony will be laid to rest at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
