Anthony David "Tony" Harrison, 56
COVINGTON, KY. - Anthony David "Tony" Harrison, 56, passed away after a long illness at his home in Covington this week.
Tony was born Feb. 21, 1951 in Youngstown, the son of William J. and Marion Keast Harrison.
A 1969 graduate of Ursuline High School, he spent much of his life on the Kanawah, Ohio, and Mississippi rivers as a steamboat pilot. He began his career as a deckhand on the Delta Queen on the Mississippi and most recently was a captain on the fleet operated by B&B Riverboats of Covington.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Fred Alexander of Liberty Township.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, William J. "Jim" Harrison III.
