Ann Marie Martinko

CANFIELD — Ann Marie Beck Martinko, 78, died Saturday, May 24, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

Annie was born on June 2, 1946, in Youngstown, a daughter of Patrick Mancini and the former Elizabeth Irwin. 

She was a 1964 graduate of Chaney High School. Annie dedicated over two decades of her life to serving others as a waitress at Dino’s Restaurant in Austintown. She also worked at A&P and Giant Eagle. She assisted with catering at the Saxon Club.

Annie had a passion for cooking and baking. She had a love for travel, often visiting Aruba and Las Vegas. She enjoyed playing bingo and was devoted to attending every sporting event of her grandsons. She was a member of the Breast Cancer Focus Club. 

Annie is survived by her son, George A. (Caroline) Beck, of Canfield; a sister, Patty Donelson, of Austintown; a brother, Floyd (Carol) Mancini; grandsons, Brayden and Jameson Beck; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

 In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her sister, Roseann Lewis, and her brother, Robert Mancini. 

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, and 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, 3701 Starrs Centre Drive. 

A funeral service will take place immediately following the calling hours at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. She will be entombed at Green Haven Memorial Garden. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Annie’s memory may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
