Violet Sobinovsky

Youngstown - A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Violet Sobinovsky, 87, formerly of Youngstown, who passed away Oct. 3, 2017 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Violet was born May 2, 1930 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Alex and Catherine (Estock) Shasho, she
graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1948. She was a life long member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Her greatest love was for her family and always enjoyed spending time with her extended family.

Her husband, Joseph Sobinovsky whom she married April 19, 1952, passed away April 16, 2008.
Violet leaves two daughters, Joanne (Gene) Colombo of Hudson and Karen (Dennis) Evans of Las Cruces, New Mexico; a son, Joseph (Christine) Sobinovsky Jr. of Martinsburg, WV; three grandchildren, Maria, Gina and Lisa Sobinovsky. She also leaves six sisters, Anne Bailey, Helen Weibel, Gerry Jewell, Joanne Gareffa, Dolores Leone, and Sandy Berry.
She was also proceded in death by two sisters, Martha Bowman and Pat Swedik; and three brothers, Michael, Charles and Alex Shasho.

Family and friends may call Saturday from 9 to 9:45 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
