ROBERT J. KOSIOREK
POLAND - Prayers will begin Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Church for Robert J. Kosiorek, 76, who died early Wednesday morning at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Robert was born Nov. 10, 1937, in Canton, to Benjamin and Cecelia Bishop Kosiorek.
He was a 1955 graduate of The Rayen School and the Sheet Metal Building Trade Local Union 33. Robert began his 40-year career as a sheet metal worker and later worked as the Business Representative for Local Union 33.
Robert was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country during the Berlin Crisis. He was part of the 348 Engineering Co. and a rifle expert.
Robert was a member of the Holy Family Church, a charter member of the Cameo Club, founding member of the Vagabond Golf Club, and a member of the Cursillo Club.
He enjoyed traveling, golfing and most of all, the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife, the former Jeannette Bisciglia, whom he married Nov. 5, 1960; four sons, Chris (Erica) Kosiorek of Chagrin Falls, Russ (Barb) Kosiorek of Chagrin Falls, Darryl (Amanda) Kosiorek of Spartanburg, S.C., and Bob (Pam) of Aliso Viejo, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, Sage, Crew, Jace, Rome, Jaime, Sam, Jack, Alexis, Mackenzie, Lydia, and Marlon; and nieces and nephew, Syndie, Gigi, and Rory.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jacqueline Cassedy.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
