Norma Mcguire

YOUNGSTOWN - A memorial service will be held at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel on Friday at noon officiated by the Rev. Kevin Peters for Norma Jean McGuire, 72, of Youngstown formerly of Canfield, who died Tuesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Norma Jean was born April 30, 1943, in Youngstown, a daughter of Victor J. and Agnes Paden McGuire Sr.

She had worked for 30 years at Woodside Hospital in the laundry department.

Norma Jean was a member of the Sacred Heart - St. Angela Merici Church, where she was very active and went to church religiously every week.

Making crafts and playing Bingo were Norma Jean's favorite pastimes.

Norma Jean leaves her four sisters, Agnes McAllen of Pulaski, Pa., Shirley (Robert) Durkin of Canfield, Gloria McGuire of Youngstown, and Rose (Gregory) George of Austintown; two brothers, Victor J. McGuire Jr. and Daniel R. McGuire, both of Youngstown; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Friday from 11 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
